The Beatles and Their Times

The 1960s were a time of change, of peace and protest, of dissent and harmony, of Kennedys, Kings, and Countercultures. Throughout it all, the good and the bad, the upheaval and summers of love, there was the Beatles. The British band arguably served as the pied pipers of the decade, becoming not only a part of the history of the times but helping to shape it as well. Their lives and their music serve as mirrors, reflecting in both directions – just as the Beatles cannot be separated from the Sixties, the opposite is true as well.
