Champions: The World Still Needs Heroes

During the early part of the twenty-first century, the Marvel Universe began opening its ranks to a more diverse group of superheroes, reflecting the outlooks of a new generation and redefining the concept of a superhero in the process. Although many of these characters initially assumed the moniker of already established superheroes, they soon crafted unique personas and developed their own set of beliefs and world views. Some even united under the banner of “Champions,” fighting for a world still in need of heroes.
