Education Organizations

While teachers and educators have found ways to incorporate comic books and other elements of popular culture into their classrooms, other advocates of pop culture as an education tool have gone the nonprofit route, forming organizations to promote and launch new initiatives. From teaching children how to read, using cosplay to teach science, to working with K-12 educators to craft curriculums, these nonprofits are at the forefront of a movement that has been gathering steam for decades and finally getting its due.
